With the growth of the Sorority, the Iota Lambda
Chapter was chartered under the Eta Tau Omega Chapter on the campus of the
University of Florida on May 17, 1975 by a group of
young women known as the "25 Pearls of Distinction." These women
enhanced the University of Florida campus with their spirit of sisterhood,
service and scholarship. Today, Iota Lambda resides under the leadership of Mu
Upsilon Omega Chapter, in which Iota Lambda continues to perpetuate
the principles and standards set forth by its founders through sisterly
activities, philanthropic endeavors and academics. The illustrious ladies of
Iota Lambda proudly paint the University of Florida campus Salmon Pink and
Apple Green, carrying the legacy of greatness with them everywhere.
